Need to chill after a massive night out in Ayia Napa? Instead of the usual stag do adrenaline activities, you could be dropping beneath the ocean waves, and entering a world unlike any other.

Ayia Napa is a great place to learn to SCUBA dive. The water's clear and warm, the marine life is abundant and the instructors are well used to working with lads on a stag do. This course is aimed squarely at beginners, too, so it doesn't matter if the boys have never strapped on a regulator before. They'll learn everything they need to know, and in the hands of these expert teachers they'll feel completely safe the whole time.

Your scuba diving course takes place at Cavo Greko, the famous cape that divides Protaras from Ayia Napa at the southern end of Famagusta Bay. Over three hours (one and a half swimming in the water), you'll learn to breathe through the regulator and use your swim fins for navigating the submarine world.

Nothing can prepare you for the sensation of breathing underwater for the first time. No longer tied to the surface, you're free to explore the sea floor and encounter the incredible creatures that live there. To make sure your dive is well attended by the local marine fauna, your instructors will even send you down with food for the fish!

Keep your eyes peeled for turtles, and remember that Cavo Greko is meant to be the home of the Ayia Napa sea monster! Don't worry though - the serpent-like beast is said to be friendly...
